Incredible customer service through and through. I have leaned away from any type of salesmen due to overselling pitches. Rob is everything OTHER than that. He made shopping feel comfortable, easy, and friendly. We went over men's rings and explained the different metals and styles, not once did I feel like he was trying to upsell. I recommend giving this local jewelry store a shot and experience for yourself how a true, honest salesman gets the job done. I will be back in the future for my ring and earring needs. I also let him know that I keep losing my sapphire earrings, and he was able to get an affordable set in quickly and at an amazing price.

Hands Down the BEST Jewelry store in town. Rob, the owner was super knowledged, honest, and helpful. The selection is high-quality, unique, and absolutely beautiful. Security and safety is excellent. Learned they could create customs and do repairs, just an overall hands down wonderful experience. Will only be purchasing from them in the future.

I stopped in here to get a few clasps replaced on my necklaces and a keychain, and had such a lovely experience, I had to leave a review. First of all, it always is nice to support a local family owned business in town. Second of all, Rob and his wife were very kind and helpful, and Rob went above and beyond to help me with my needs, and for a great price! He was even able to make the repairs then and there. I would highly recommend Gem city jewelry to anyone that needs to purchase jewelry or repair jewelry, this is the place!

I had 2 rings and an idea. I came in and spoke with Rob and Sherry. They were able to make my “idea” happen. I also had another ring sized. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the results!!! Friendly, personal service and great listeners. AND….they have some beautiful, unique pieces in their store.

I am so grateful for Gem City Jewelry. The owner, Rob, helped my fiancée and I design the perfect engagement ring. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, and most of all, infinitely supportive; I never felt like he pressured us (a young couple) to buy a certain product or adjust our vision in a way we weren’t comfortable with. No joke — when I pulled the ring out to propose, she was so shocked by how great the ring looked that she said “Oh my god, it’s so pretty!” before she said “Yes.” Couldn’t be happier with the end result. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful little family owned jewelry store! Went in to get a ring cut off and they did it for free! The owner and his wife are super friendly and kind people. They repaired my rings basically at cost! I’ve been looking for a good jewelry store in Dayton and this is it! Ended up chatting with the owner for a while and talking about the things I liked. I pointed out this piece, and he ended up giving it to me for free just because I liked it so much. He’s earned a lifetime customer, and now I’m planning on having him make some custom jewelry for me. Can’t recommend enough!

What an amazing experience! Rob and his family went above and beyond to help create my most memorable moment with my new wife Patricia! From helping create and design Patricia's wedding ring! His options for my wedding band we awesome and many, my ring arrived the Friday before his vacation and unfortunately was not a good fit, no fault of Rob's, a new ring 1 size smaller was ordered for delivery on Monday. Monday, we forget was a holiday, so Rob, took 2 and half hours out of his day to drive to Cincinnati to pick up my ring and bring it to the store where his mother Patty took great cam of us until he arrived! Wow, customer service like this gets 5 stars every time! Thanks, William

Found an absolute hidden gem of a jewelry store! I stopped by to find a Valentine’s Day gift and was blown away by the service. The owner was incredibly patient and steered us toward a birthstone piece, which added such a thoughtful, personal touch. He really worked with our budget and offered a fantastic deal. If you want an stress-free experience with someone who truly cares, this is the place.

My husband gifted me an exquisite strand of Akoya pearls, but they were a little long for my taste. My hubby met me at GEM City Jewelers and Rob, the owner, was more than helpful. He designed a shorter strand and had drawings for a matching bracelet. We decided to exchange the longer strand for a shorter strand of Akoya pearls instead. I am absolutely in love with them! I also picked up a gorgeous necklace to layer with my pearls. Rob’s customer service is outstanding and Gem City has repeat customers in me and my husband!

Rob was the best person I've spoke to about getting the perfect engagement ring for my future wife. He helped me custom design the ring of her dreams and he helped me turn her inspiration images into an unforgettable and unique ring. I thought being a small, local jeweler meant that it would cost more but the bill I got from him, saved me WAYYY more than any of the STARTING quotes from the chain jewelry stores. During the process, Rob also taught me so much about jewelry so I knew what to look for and that speaks wonders about how honest his work is because he is showing me directly what bad jewelry is like and how to spot it.
